Measure your waist circumference. The value has to be in centimeters.
You can find out if you have too much fat around your abdominal organs by measuring your waist circumference as follows:
1) Stand up
2) Relax and don't suck your belly
3) Find the upper part of the hip bone and the lower part of the ribs
4) Put the centimetre in the middle of the distance between the two points and wrap it around the waist
5) Do not tighten the centimetre too much, its ends should overlap easily
6) Record the value of the waist circumference in centimetres in the dedicated field and you will find out if you just need to lose weight or you should also consult a nutritionist or a physician because you have a very high risk of complications.
